Your visit
What are your opening hours?
Every day from 15:00. We close at 02:00 on Fridays and Saturdays, and at 01:00 on other days.
Until when can I order hot food?
Hot food is available until 23:00. If you are arriving later and would like to eat, please send us a quick message beforehand.
Is smoking allowed?
Yes. Cigarettes, cigars and vapes are welcome here. If you are unsure, just ask our team.
Are you open on public holidays?
Yes, we’re open on public holidays too. If anything changes, you’ll find an update on our social media channels.
How do I get to The Leaf?
Find us at Residenzstraße 109, 13409 Berlin-Reinickendorf, near Franz-Neumann-Platz U-Bahn station on the U8.
Can I park nearby?
There are parking spaces nearby, but not many. You can also take the U8 straight to us: just get off at Franz-Neumann-Platz.
Bookings and celebrations
Is my table booked once I send a message?
Once you have our confirmation, your table is booked. Send us the date, time and number of people. If you’re planning a birthday, want to play a particular game or watch football, just mention that in your message too.
Can I bring a birthday cake?
Send us a quick message beforehand if you’d like to bring your own cake. We’ll let you know if that works for your date and what you need to keep in mind.
Is there a set price for groups?
Individual food and drink prices are in the current menu. Contact us to discuss pricing for your group and any special requests.
Games and football
Which games can we play?
We have UNO, Okey, backgammon, Mensch ärgere dich nicht and Skip-Bo ready to play. You can book a table for a larger group.
Do you have automatic Okey tables?
No. Everyone at the table mixes the Okey tiles together by hand. For us, the fun is in sitting together: chatting and laughing while getting the next round ready. The clatter of the tiles is part of the experience of playing together at a real table. A quick game on your phone has its place too. At The Leaf, we like sharing the game face to face. Tiles and racks are ready for you.
Can we bring our own games?
Just ask us beforehand and show us the game. In many cases, that should be no problem at all.
Do you show every Champions League or Süper Lig match?
We show major matches, rather than every fixture. Send us the teams, date and kick-off time and we’ll confirm whether your match is on.
Food and drinks
Is the food halal?
Yes. All food at The Leaf is halal. If you would like to know more about a particular dish, please ask our team.
Are all your drinks alcohol-free?
Yes. Our entire drinks menu is alcohol-free, including the cocktails.
What should I do if I have a food allergy?
Tell us about any allergies before ordering. We’ll help you check the relevant ingredients and allergen information for the dish.
Are there vegetarian or vegan options?
Please ask our team. They can explain which dishes are currently vegetarian or vegan.
Can I ask about the ingredients?
Of course. Tell our team which dish you are interested in and which ingredient you would like to know more about. Please mention any allergies or intolerances before ordering. Our menu also lists the allergens for every dish.
Does your San Sebastián cheesecake come from Uhlandstraße?
Yes. Our San Sebastián cheesecake comes from San Sebastian Café on Uhlandstraße.
What comes with the San Sebastián cheesecake?
It comes with Bueno topping or Lotus sauce. Check the menu for the current option, or ask our team.

Can I get in touch even if there is no job advert?
Of course, we’d love to hear from you! Tell us what you’d like to do and what you could bring to the team. We can then see whether there is a suitable opening at the moment.
What is the best way to ask about joining the team?
Talk to our team at the café. A quick hello and a few words about the work that interests you are a good start. If we are busy, we can discuss a better time to talk.
